2023 Competion/festival

The Young Artist Committee in conjunction with the Herberger Institute School of Music at ASU presents this weeklong festival featuring competitions, recitals, and master classes by local as well as guest artists and clinicians. It also features the final rounds of The Angelo and Micheline Addona Arizona Young Artist Piano Competition, the Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition for Young Pianists, and the Bösendorfer USASU International Piano Competition. The week's events culminate with the Winners Recital and Awards Ceremony for each of the competitions. Funds for scholarships and summer institutes are raised from a number of private sources. Additional funding comes from grants from art commissions, corporate underwriters, and voluntary donations from businesses, community organizations, and individuals.
